Bergen, Norway. - Fløibanen funicular! We rode the Fløibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen, approx. 320 metres above sea level, to see the magnificent cityscape in detail and the seaward approaches and fjords surrounding Bergen. The funicular railway is one of Norway's most famous attractions. The trip starts from the city centre, just 150 metres from the Fish Market and Bryggen. The exiting trip up to the mountain is a magnificent experience in itself. We were glad we made time on the trip to spend in Bergen.
The views are spectacular!!! A must see while in Bergen! Celebrating100 years in 2018! We purchased our tickets when we arrived and didn't have to wait in line very long. We went later afternoon after our Fjord tour. Easy to get to, quick walk from center city area.
