Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa

Sorrel River Ranch and Spa Resort. Our hotel for a few nights on our Utah National Parks trip! A few relaxing days around the ranch, Moab, and the National Parks! Set amongst the most spectacular scenery near southern Utah’s famous arches and red rock mountains, Sorrel River Ranch Resort elevates the standard of luxury lodging in Moab, Utah, offering 240 acres of wide open ranch land tucked away along the Colorado River.

Corner room, sitting porch, view is coming up next! Upscale western pleasantries. We really enjoyed our River View Studio room. We had a spectacular view of the Colorado River from the private deck or living area of your River View Studio. Averaging 560 sq ft (52 sq m), complete with one King bed, it was really spacious, set up nicely with a living and kitchen area, large spa like bathroom, in a rustic custom style very cozy, a relaxing escape.

View from our hotel ranch room sitting porch. You could get used to waking up to a view like this! Overlooking the Colorado River. The mornings were so pretty, peaceful, and quiet.

Horses at the ranch!

Stay tuned for where we are heading! The location of the ranch was just fantastic, not too far from Moab, our UTV tour, a pizza place for dinner in downtown Moab, two National Parks - Arches (30 minutes) and Canyonlands (45 minutes), and a State Park right in the middle! Very convenient to everything we planned to do while in town! The drive to and from downtown Moab and back to the ranch was really pretty. We pulled off on our second day to take some drone footage and pictures. So many red rock formations along the route all with the river running along side the roadway. So pretty!

S’mores at the campfire at the ranch last night in Moab, UT. This was such a treat after a long day out visiting the surrounding National Parks to come back to the hotel, sit by a warm fire, and toast some s'mores. One of our favorite activities on the trip!

We visited at the right time a year for sure. The Spring weather was spot on between 70-80 degrees the entire trip. The ranch resort was quiet, relaxing, and full of activities to either participate in or observe. Definitely a place to re-charge, relax and enjoy! It was comfortable, enjoyable and located right along the river.
